The different stages to book an accommodation
For the students coming for the second semester you must book on line from June 2nd to July 31st 2009 or from october 2nd to december 1st, 2009. After these dates most of the residences will be full up.
University will be closed from december 21st 2009 to January 3rd 2010.
Check the dates of the beginning and end of our classes and those of the exams. It is advisable to arrive in Lyon one or two days before the beginning of the programme, the optional but highly recommended orientation course and the information meeting.
Read the explanatory leaflet of each residence (rent, taxes, charges, duration of the contract, filing fees, distance to the city centre or to university…) and then choose your three favourite residences.
The total amount of the rent is important for the choice of accommodation and you may get a rent allowance/subsidy.If you have any questions, please email the accommodation service and not the residences.
Fill in the form and keep your registration number (an automatic email received once you choose the paiement method).
Send the sum mentioned at the bottom of the registration form : 335 Euros for the accommodation and 210 Euros for the orientation course. 305 Euros will be paid to the residence for part of the deposit or will be deducted on one of your future rent or you will be reimbursed one or two months after your arrival. Warning : the booking is definitive once the deposit is paid.- The confirmation of the booking will be sent by mail. You will be sent a new proposal if the residences you have chosen are full up.
- Make an appointment with the residence for : inventory of fixtures, signature of the contract, and the handing over of the keys.
